About The Skin Hub
Formerly known as Pure Skin Clinic and a fixture in Geelong’s beauty and skin treatment scene for the better part of the past 12 years, owner Kelly Inglis has now re-branded to The Skin Hub and upgraded to a 300 square metre space on High Street, Belmont – triple the size of the previous space and double the amount of treatment rooms.
The brand-new space is Geelong’s newest, largest and most premium ‘hub’ for everything skin, wellness, health and beauty – offering the same services that have been available at Pure Skin Clinic now with a bigger, contemporary new fit-out.
Our team are dedicated to being transparent every step of the way – from pricing to explaining treatments, even those that seem quite daunting. We know there is nothing more personal than topics of body, skin and beauty, but our knowledgeable and relatable approach will ease clients through their personal journey.

The Skin Hub is also a one-stop shop stocking leading brands for both beauty and clinical treatments such as DMK, BDR Medical Beauty and Regul8. All brands are clinically-tested, with proven results for our clients. We also stock products that assist in wellbeing and health, including sleep sprays and superfood blends from well-known brands such as The Salt Lab and The Goodnight Co.
Meet The Team
Kelly Inglis
Founder & Director
Kelly is an Award-Winning beauty therapist with over 18 years experience in the industry.
Kelly completed her Diploma of Beauty Therapy at The Centre of Excellence before founding the Award-Winning Pure Skin Clinic in 2007. Since then she has been providing Geelong and surrounds with the highest level of beauty therapy, before both rebranding to The Skin Hub and upgraded to a brand-new 300 square metre space.
Alongside her Diploma of Beauty Therapy, Kelly is an Award-Winning Cosmetic Tattoo Artist, having trained with industry leaders in Scalp Micropigmentation and Advanced Eyeliner and Lip Tattoo. In 2016, she was awarded the prestigious Association of Cosmetic Tattoo Novice Award - cementing her as the industry leader she is.
Kelly is also a qualified IPL Consultant, Eyelash Extension Specialist and Plasma technician, and is committed to providing The Skin Hub's clientele with unparalleled service and choices, while ensuring she offers the most advanced skincare and beauty treatments available.
Not to mention, Kelly is also the Co-Founder / Co-Director at Australian Colour Technologies; the sole distributors of Goldeneye Products in Australia and New Zealand.
Kelly and her partner Daniel have been together for 23 years and live in the country where it’s nice and quiet with their three little girls who are aged 5, 7 and 9, two ponies, dogs, a cat, chooks, birds & fish.
Kelly and Daniel love to travel and explore, even if it's just a weekend trip with the girls to an old trash and treasure market or an overseas vacation.
Kathryn Dumaresq
Owner & Director
Kathryn is a Skin Therapist with over 10 years experience in the industry.
Kathryn completed her Diploma of Beauty Therapy at Elly Lukas and took on a traineeship early into her studies. Other than a short break in her career in 2016 she spent most of her time there and worked up to management until needing to be closer to family and joining Kelly as part of her team. She has completed more short courses than she can count, a Diploma of health sciences and a certificate in Business Administration.
Since joining Kelly she has been providing clients life changing skin results. She again worked up to management before having her baby in January 2022. When Kelly asked her to come back to be part owner it was a no brainer as she knew it was where she belonged and couldn't have asked for a better opportunity or partner.
Alongside her Diplomas of Beauty Therapy, and Health Sciences, Kathryn is a DMK Skin Technician, trained in IPL and Laser, a qualified Trainer and Assessor and has trained in Cosmetic Tattoo.
Kathryn also works for Australian Colour Technologies; As an Account Manager and Trainer for bdr Medical Beauty Skincare.
Kathryn and her partner Jeremy have been together for 7 years and live in Armstrong Creek with hope to eventually move further out of town with their son Gordie.
Kathryn and Jeremy love going to Zoos, Aquariums and Museums (Yes even before a baby) and are so excited to be able to one day travel the world as a family. Anywhere and everywhere.
Shannon
Client Services Manager & Assistant to Director
Shannon has a passion for customer service and loves working with clients to ensure they enjoy every visit.
Joining The Skin Hub marks Shannon’s return to the beauty industry after a 13 year break in office administration – she is a qualified Hairdresser with more than five years’ experience. Since starting at The Skin Hub Shannon has emersed herself into the world of skin and has completed nearly 40 online DMK training webinars including; Program one which provides the foundational knowledge needed in order to learn about the DMK products.
When not working, Shannon loves spending time with her family and friends and especially loves spoiling her nephew Taj and niece Marley.
A keen traveller, Shannon has been to over 20 countries, even having lived in London for a year in her early twenties.
Shannon is warm, friendly, efficient and caring. She is ready to ensure a smooth welcome to The Skin Hub.
Jo Ellen
Skin Clinic Manager
Jo Ellen joined The Skin Hub team in late 2021, after working in the Dental industry for over 6 years as a Dental Nurse and Practice Manager. We are proud to now have her as our new Skin Clinic Manager.
In her latest role, she treated clients to HydraFacials and LED treatments whilst also advising on skincare. She assisted in skin laser treatments, anti wrinkle injectables and filler.
Jo Ellen has a love for skin and beauty with a Diploma of Specialist make up services. Specialising in wedding and event make up, Jo Ellen has been running her own freelance business for 9 years and also has many years of experience in brows and lashes.
Passionate about client care and fast becoming a favourite among clients with her caring nature, Jo Ellen loves working with our skincare brands DMK and bdr Medical Beauty and is excited about the results you can achieve with a good skincare routine.
In her downtime Jo Ellen enjoys travelling, including living in London for 12 months, and also loves keeping fit by going to the gym, doing pilates and running. She loves socialising with her friends and being Aunty Jo Jo to her nephews.
Jo
Senior Therapist
Jo is an Award-Winning Beauty Therapist with over 20 years’ experience in the beauty industry – she holds a Diploma of Beauty Therapy, Cert IV in Dental Nursing, Cert III in administration as well as being a qualified IPL Consultant, Eyelash Extension Specialist, Sugaring and Plasma technician. She has completed countless day courses and has completed her studies in Cert IV in training and assessment.
With a passion for high quality skincare and professional service, Jo strives to provide her clients with their best pamper experience every single time.
Jo completed her Diploma of Beauty Therapy at The Centre of Excellence and has been a part of the Pure Skin Clinic team since 2008. Jo currently works part time at The Skin Hub, now splitting her time with teaching beauty to beginners.
Jo has been happily married to her husband Adam for 20 years and has two beautiful children, Charlie age 15 and Matilda age 12.
Jo enjoys playing netball, doing yoga and relaxing with a wine in front of the fire as well as spending time at the beach and being outdoors with her family.
Corey
RN, Cosmetic Injector & Senior Therapist
Corey has over 12 years’ experience in the beauty industry – she holds a Diploma of Beauty Therapy as well as being Paramedical Skin Technician, Skin Needling Specialist, Sugaring Technician and Naturopath in training and most recently completed her Bachelor of Nursing Degree at Deakin.
Corey spent years working in top market salons all over Melbourne before relocating to Geelong and is passionate about providing all of her clients with exceptional results-based treatments and ongoing advice to ensure they get the most out of every visit.
With Corey, your experience doesn’t stop when you walk out the door, her advice extends to home-care and lifestyle – having training in advanced skin anatomy, skin needling, peels, advanced paramedical treatments and Naturopathy – she is committed to continually furthering her training and education in the industry.
Corey and her wife recently finished renovating a house in Belmont where they live with their four children, four dogs, two chickens and cat.
To let off steam, Corey enjoys playing with the Geelong Roller Derby where she is the Head Coach and Captain of their travel team, the 'Bloody Mary's.'
You will find Corey behind the needle these days doing injectable and off the beauty tools - leaning into her passion for advanced aesthetics.
Alana
Cosmetic & Fine line tattooist
Alana is our new tattooist and comes to The Skin Hub with a wealth of knowledge in science and art, making her the perfect addition to our team.
Having completed a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Visual Arts, her career has blended together in cosmetic tattoo where art (drawing, tattoo, colour theory), and science (healing, skin science, products) and working with people are key.
Being naturally artistic, and through her visual arts studies, Alana has an exceptional eye for colour and shape, and her drawing abilities give her the edge in creating brow symmetry and a steady hand needed for precision work.
She has also been practising body tattoo for many years, specialising in detailed design work (black and grey) and fine line tattoo work.
Alana is a perfectionist, and genuinely loves making people feel happy about themselves.
She recently moved to the area with her partner and 3 small children, and is immersing herself in coastal life. In her spare time she likes to draw and create beautiful bespoke designs for her clients.

Taneesa
Dermal Clinician
An award-winning qualified Dermal Therapist & Beauty Therapist, Taneesa completed her Diploma of Beauty Therapy at Elly Lukas Beauty Therapy College in 2019 whilst working as a Product Specialist for a major Cosmetics brand. After graduating, she then began working in the skin and aesthetics industry, deciding to continue her studies at The Australian Dermal Science Institute for both an Associates Degree in Dermal Therapy and her Bachelor of Applied Health Science (Clinical Aesthetics). Alongside her Diploma, Associates Degree and Bachelor Degree, Taneesa has further training under her belt with multiple Laser Safety and IPL Qualifications, advanced skin anatomy and internal health short-courses. She received a Teacher Nominated Award for dedication to her studies alongside a prestigious Advanced Skin Award by DMK at her graduation. Taneesa has a passionate interest for the science behind skincare and is always updating her knowledge with the latest research. Her commitment to further studies ensures she is at the forefront of industry advancements and knows how to provide the best results for her clients.
Outside of work, Taneesa is on the Board of education of ASDC (The Australian Society of Dermal Clinicians) where she represents her University and strives to share awareness of Dermal Therapists/Clinicians, attending regular meetings and events to help advocate for the evolving industry. Taneesa enjoys travelling, camping or city escapes, and has a German-Shepard cross fur-baby of her own called Max.
Taylah
Beauty Therapist
Taylah completed her Diploma of Beauty Therapy at Elly Lukas in 2020. She was an award winning student who won a teacher nominated award for excellence in Skincare at her graduation. Taylah is not only qualified in laser/IPL safety and advanced skin anatomy/short courses but has also enjoyed previous roles which included her performing skin needling, chemical peels, hydra facials, laser hair removal, laser skin treatments (pigment, vascular), LED and home care prescriptions.
She is passionate about gut and internal health and their link between the skin.
Personally focused on health, wellness, fitness and educating clients about how to achieve their skin goals by looking deeper into the functioning of their skin and not being focused on the surface. Being passionate about the science regarding skincare and its ingredients and how it works with the skin brings a wealth of knowledge to Taylah's skin analysis process.
When not at work treating her client's Taylah can be found travelling, having been to over 20 countries and travelling Europe alone at the age of 19. She enjoys the gym to keep fit & healthy and walking with her 2 fur babies Kobey & Murphy
As well as playing Aunty Tay Tay to her niece, Taylah is also a big foodie and loves to find great new places to eat out, let her know your favourite food places in Geelong and surrounds.
TJ
Beauty Therapist
TJ, (who is actually named Taylah as well but we have shortened to TJ for ease of client bookings) completed her Diploma of Beauty Therapy at The Centre Of Excellence in March 2022, previous to her Diploma she had also been studying her Cert III in Beauty Therapy alongside her year 11 and 12 VCE.
Previously having worked in the day spa field and developing her massage skills over many, many, many massages she has now found her passion in skin care and facial work. Combined with her thirst for learning and building her knowledge TJ is dedicated to giving her clients the best experience possible.
Our youngest member on the team will be sure to impress with her mad lash lift skills and killer brow techniques.
TJ spends her nights and weekends training and playing competitive club netball. Whilst she loves walking her 2 dogs on the beach she also loves to sweat it out in the gym taking part in morning pilates classes several times a week.
Lisa
Social Media Expert & Store Buyer
Having known Kelly for a number of years Lisa finally joined The Skin Hub team in 2020. Previously the owner and operator of 2 online businesses, Lisa was the go to person when Kelly wanted to expand the range of artisan products and social media exposure for The Skin Hub.
Lisa has a wealth of knowledge in product creation ,through to marketing and sales. You may see her from time to time rearranging stock in the store front with her beautiful visual merchandising skills.
Lisa also has a family of 3 gorgeous children Riley, Hudson and Florence who attend school with Kellys girls as well. With the sweetest personality and artistic and photographic skills to die for Lisa is a very welcome part of the team.
